School keeps cancelling because no one knows how to drive on icy roads. We only know how to drive into hurricanes and floods.
It hasn't snowed in years. I want snow.
I thought it would since our winter's been pretty long.
Nope.
I'm getting a hair cut later. My hair is a shame.
I've been shooting a lot more often with the needle that is my point and shoot because I'm constantly killing the battery on the DSLR and have to go to class to charge it up again. The point and shoot just fits in my pocket when I need it, and it's fun for street. Say no to hard drugs. Is art a hard drug?
I shot a shoot or two for portraits: Annie Leibovitz style. She's been an amazing portrait photographer to study, really inspirational stuff has been written and documented about her. Don't know when you'll see it, since I keep getting assigned a re-shoot for it.
The studio (room) went through some heavy cleaning in terms of furniture and things, so now there's more room for projects and work and breathing. Yay.While cleaning out I also found an external hard drive that I'm sure I'll stat using to dump footage in for practicing shooting B-roll, color correction, and I guess just back to video making in general. More things to work for towards a portfolio. More yay.
In terms of my life, stuff's getting better.
Re-realizing I'm an individual bonded to the arts, and what it can do for me as a career path.
I'm tired of wasting my life thinking I'm wasting my life. I'm being myself, and I don't want it any other way.
I know I'm willing to enter any profession as long as my hearts in it, and I get to help others out.
I'd still really like to go out of state for video production. I'll work towards that.
I'll put a little faith in myself.
I'm looking forward to year four of PHS! Year four on dA! I'm very excited for things in February, March, and up to a thing or two in June.
Things are happening! Now lets go make art!
(And let's bring back some logos?)

YEAR X
I didn't forget. I blame the global pandemic that's happening right now. I was on the toilet this morning and realized it was March, well past March 7th. So much has happened these past few weeks. My senior year of college was essentially taken away from me. No graduation ceremony, no rugby national championship. Those are two pretty big life moments to miss. But I'm back bitches, and I've been making shit for almost ten years. As always, im alive on twitter and instagram if you want to keep up with my life and creative projects. @madamsteamfunk. ... After months of consideration, I have decided to make a Tik Tok. I am now China's bitch. I was curious to see how we are transforming into a very media-literate society, and turn to video as a primary method of communication. I love it. I've been watching rugby almost ever day in quarantine. Good stuff. I'm still making films. I am finishing up my college journey and I'm heading back to Texas to figure the next steps to my

apparently this time last year I had an internship secured. nice. still on the hunt for one rn but at least I did a video interview with a TV channel today! hope it works out. it always does.

Year 8.
Starts now.
I love filming, and I really enjoy my college classes.
I seem to be making videos a lot more now, which is awesome.
I landed a summer internship with a museum in LA, so I can't wait to create media with them.
Favorite video I've created in year 7? probably this one:
I love interviewing amazing people and getting their stories out there. it's all I wanna do.
this video is a close second for the same reasons.
This video however has been getting some recognition by my campus:
it's pretty personal. but I love it.
Let's see what else I'll come up with.
I'm really proud of myself. But I can't wait to do more.
