I went thrifting with my friend to show him the ropes:
We stole the sign that says to put things back where they came from.
"Thank you FOR you'r EDUCATION."
While he twerked for Jesus we got some Ts, a crochet rasta pillow, Homer Simpson, a shot glass the size of Homer, mugs, and their sign.
We're gunna do this more often. This was $7.09 and we burned so much school stress. 10/10 will do again.
In about three weeks my street photography project will be done and I'll know what I can and wanna share from it. We're doing a project with Museum of Fine Arts Houston and another with the Houston Chronicle so I'll keep you posted! The street stuff I've been posting either never made the contact sheets or I just really liked em. Really getting better.
I've been trying to find more ways and time to doodle. I basically am never given traditional prompts to achieve, but I have a few leftover sketchbooks that need art in them! Journal doodling is one thing, but I wanna get into my 9x12s again.

I didn't forget. I blame the global pandemic that's happening right now. I was on the toilet this morning and realized it was March, well past March 7th. So much has happened these past few weeks. My senior year of college was essentially taken away from me. No graduation ceremony, no rugby national championship. Those are two pretty big life moments to miss. But I'm back bitches, and I've been making shit for almost ten years. As always, im alive on twitter and instagram if you want to keep up with my life and creative projects. @madamsteamfunk. ... After months of consideration, I have decided to make a Tik Tok. I am now China's bitch. I was curious to see how we are transforming into a very media-literate society, and turn to video as a primary method of communication. I love it. I've been watching rugby almost ever day in quarantine. Good stuff. I'm still making films. I am finishing up my college journey and I'm heading back to Texas to figure the next steps to my

I literally made this yesterday/today. enjoy.
apparently this time last year I had an internship secured. nice. still on the hunt for one rn but at least I did a video interview with a TV channel today! hope it works out. it always does.

Starts now.
I love filming, and I really enjoy my college classes.
I seem to be making videos a lot more now, which is awesome.
I landed a summer internship with a museum in LA, so I can't wait to create media with them.
Favorite video I've created in year 7? probably this one:
I love interviewing amazing people and getting their stories out there. it's all I wanna do.
this video is a close second for the same reasons.
This video however has been getting some recognition by my campus:
it's pretty personal. but I love it.
Let's see what else I'll come up with.
I'm really proud of myself. But I can't wait to do more.
